Marbella Mob's Gary Collins mixed results in Las Vegas 

Our very own,  Gary Collins , is experiencing some mixed results in his assault on Las Vegas and the  World Series of Poker . This has been an ambition to get to Vegas for a long time and because of heavy work commitments, it's taken a while to find the right time to be able to go.

After 2 weeks almost, it's nearly time time pack his bags and come home and reflect on what has been the most wonderful poker experience, tinged with moments of sheer exasperation at how the poker gods decide to kick you right in the cream crackers at the most inopportune moment. We look forward to his Vegas Diary and blogs will be here soon!!

We're off. The WSOP 2011 is underway!

The World Series of Poker 2011 got under way this week on Tuesday in Las Vegas. There will be an amazing 58 events in this years series.

Kicking off as usual, at 12 noon on Tuesday 31st May, with the $500 Casino Employees NLH event #1 and ending in the most famous game of poker in the universe, Event #58: No-Limit Hold'em World Championship.

The Marbella Mob's Gary Collins will be in Las Vegas this year as well so keep an eye out for the Mobster.

Marbella Mob's Gary Collins getting ready for Las Vegas 

Our very own,  Gary Collins , is getting his suitcase ready and packed for his upcoming assault on Las Vegas and the  World Series of Poker . This has been an ambition for a long time and because of heavy work commitments, it's taken a while to find the right time to be able to go. A contributing factor was competing for the chance to win packages to Las Vegas this summer at the Marbella Classic Poker Series held through last year. After winning the MCP event held last May, on his birthday no less and consistent finishes in the remaining events, Gary secured a trip of a lifetime to the last stop before heaven, LAS VEGAS. He will be playing 3 or 4 of the tornaments and we will keep you updated on his progress throughout all the events. Good luck Gary, fill your suitcase with money to come home!!!!!!
